    1 Washer timer not cycling on 1/17/2012, 08:04

    This is a 15 yr. old Kenmore stackable - electric washer / gas dryer. The washer will not cycle. I can manually change from wash to spin, spin to rinse ... but that's not working too well for me. I have the schematic. What do you recommend? Also, there is too much water left in fabrics after the final spin cycle. Does the belt need to be tightened? I replaced the belt last year.

    Sincerely not wanting to visit the local laundromat!
